I hope to return for a longer stay. The Regional Museum is great; I would like to have had time to visit others. Lots of great restaurants, street vendors of arts and crafts; but you need to carefully look for the locally-made items.

A beautiful walkable center. Many restaurants and cafés. We enjoyed the contemporary art gallery,in an interesting historic building.
We were there early December and the Christmas decorations were fantastic. One of the nicest places we have visited in Mexico.

The city has beautiful historic center with many colonial buildings and churches. The streets are super clean and at night they are up with beautiful lamps. The city has a very important share of Mexico’s independence movement and has a lot history. The food was very good and I think I’ve had the best pozole in Queretaro. You can easily visit and see the city and sites in three days. It’s veey walkable and I very safe all the time; beautiful Queretaro!

Downtime is quite nice.
Downtime is quite nice. Several places to visit and lots of all types of restaurants to accommodate your travel budget. This city is becoming quite crowded and visited and you must be aware that traffic jams are starting to be experienced more and more. However, if you stick to downtown (Centro Historic) you will enjoy a nice couple of days and will be able to visit the diverse museums, temples and overall neighborhoods which the city has.

I got tired of the heat and humidity in the Yucatan beach towns and I'm so glad we decided to visit Querétaro. NO humidity. Lots to see and enjoy just walking around. Great architecture, including an aqueduct!! Remember, Mexico used to be called New Spain. Our week's stay there at El Serafin Hotel Boutique will be forever memorable! The cultural center across from the park is not to be missed. We had an immersive Van Gogh experience for a fraction of what it would have cost in the US. The art and murals throughout the center are jaw-dropping! We also enjoyed the house museum: Museo Casa De La Zacatecana! Definitely drop in and chat with the owner of RELOVED (2-3 blocks down the street from the house museum!!) She likes to practice her English and she can give you tips on other tourist destinations (as well as give you a bargain on used clothing and new purses). And yes, we drank too much at Hank's Bar. Blame it on Happy Hour. But the band was awesome! Great city view and pasta from Terrazza la Grupa. Check out the daily menu at La Llave Restaurant (part of the Hildago Hotel): great service, bargain prices and delicious food! And if a restaurant offers tamarind water, order the pitcher! Take a tour on one of the trolleys! Visit the art museum located in the former convent: art and architecture and admission is FREE!
El Serafin is a colonial building with heaps of charm. It's right in the centre of Queretaro so you can walk safely to the parks and many eateries, shops and coffees. There are local markets in the laneways only a minute or so walk from the hotel. I have stayed here before and returned. The rooms are big rooms with opening windows.
Breakfast is brought to your room so you can eat in your room or on the patio outside your room. The staff are lovely. and go out of their way to help. I highly recommend this hotel.
We have stayed in several hotels is Querétaro and this has been by far our favorite one so far. The hotel is in a very good location. While it's in the center of everything, we were able to find peace and quite within the hotel. The hotel has a lot of beautiful spaces to hang out and have breakfast at. The staff is very friendly and very responsive to any need. Our bed was very comfortable. They offer several options for breakfast, the menu even has a vegan section. We will definitely stay there again.
Stayed here twice, its a really nice hotel in a fantastic location, near to almost all of the downtown core. The rooms are well decorated with comfortable beds, a giant TV, and coffee/fridge facilities The bathrooms are well designed with good ventilation. The hotel itself is beautiful and quiet despite its location, and has a fantastic rooftop bar with amazing views over the city at night. While its not the cheapest hotel in Queretaro, it is one of the nicer ones I stayed at.
The location is great to walk around the city center. The hotel is charming, it has many traditional details with tasteful decoration. The staff is friendly and polite, and the front desk person greeted us with some delicious mezcal at check-in. The room was roomy and spotless clean. Our room had breakfast included, they took it to our room, it was delicious, the fruit was tasty and fresh. We will definitely stay there again whenever we visit Querétaro.
We loved this hotel. One of the oldest buildings in Queretaro, the hotel has a beautiful inner courtyard with a fountain, where you can sip cocktails or eat a meal. It was authentic, chic, and felt like one was stepping into another era. Reception spoke excellent English. In contrast to the lovely historic courtyard, rooms were modern and very comfortable. Very reasonable rates.
The hotel's customer service was really good. The staff was really helpful and friendly. We were listened to and our requests were answered.
The location of the hotel is great. Our room was spacious and had a great view of a park. Bed was comfortable. The room included heating, which is something you will need in Querétaro in December.
Love that the hotel had history, it's actually the first in Querétaro. It's Colonial style architecture just completed the overall feeling of the trip.
Very clean very close to everything adn the food from the downstairs restaurant was amazing.
Staff is super nice and helpful to accommodate any need of the guest
Great place for a very good price at the edge of Centro. They had central air conditioning, which has been a first for me in Mexico! Nice, spacious room. They let me ride my motorcycle into the courtyard to keep it safe, which I realize afterwards is huge given how few places in downtown Qro offer parking.
We really enjoyed this hotel-it was very clean with a modern design. The location was exceptional in the Centro Histórico and so walking to restaurants and shopping was very easy. We found a restaurant we enjoyed so we did not eat breakfast at the hotel so we cannot comment on food at the hotel.
Room was big, clean and comfortable. Amazing hotel, great patio, centric and close to everything. Staff super friendly, gave us insights for tours, restaurants, express check in... I absolutely loved it! Felt like home! My place of stay when in Queretaro!
The room is simple but beautiful, the location is fabulous and the bed is incredibly comfortable! I also loved that you can completely block out light to sleep if you need with shutters. It's a wonderful place to stay to crash while exploring QRO/centro.
The breakfast has to be one of my favourite in all the hotels I’ve stayed throughout Mexico so far, I booked to stay here a second time because of the wonderful breakfast, excellent service staff, comfortable room and location (in that order).
Great location and amiable staff. After nine months in Mexico we had accumulated a lot of luggage and they were very kind and moved us to a larger room in the first floor thus making it easier for us.
It's a great hotel, good location, and is comfortable. We stayed for one night, as we were visiting the vineyards in the área, and needed to rest before returning to Mexico City, I recommend it.
Amazing value stay next to the park and very near old Centro. Great rooftop pool and bar that we should have made use of. The best hotel included breakfast that I've ever had.
