The three buildings in which the hotel is situated are built in 1906 and have a beautiful historical character.

Hotel Nicolaas Witsen has an ideal location on the south side of the city center of Amsterdam. The hotel is good for a long stay, but also for a single night in Amsterdam. Within a stone’s throw from the hotel you will find The ‘Rijksmuseum’, The Van Goghmuseum, the Amsterdam best-known Albert Cuypmarket, Theater Carré, The Heineken Brewery and De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). The well-known entertainment-centers with nice bars and clubs, such as the Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein are less than 600 meters (10 minutes by foot) from our hotel. Also the pop centers Paradiso and Melkweg you will find within 600 Meters.
